Molly recently completed her service as chair of the SC Employment and Labor Law Advisory Board, and, last year, she was named the 2016 Charleston “Lawyer of the Year” in Litigation -- Labor and Employment.

Molly represents management in a variety of employment matters including discrimination law, disability law, employment contracts and non-competition covenants, employment torts, wage issues, harassment litigation and training. She is a frequent speaker for business and community organizations on these topics and others.

Annual Meeting

We will provide our annual "State of the Union" of COHR including membership, financials, and voting of 2019 Board Members.

Holiday Fundraiser

This year COHR will be doing another Fostering Hope Christmas drive to help local Children have a Merry Christmas!

Fostering Hope is an organization that was established in 2004 to assist the most vulnerable children in our community.  These children are now in foster care systems.  They have either been placed from Department of Social Services because of some kind of abuse or trauma or have lost their homes due to fires or other disasters.

"All of the children we serve have endured some form of physical, mental, or emotional abuse and/or neglect, or experienced a loss. These traumatizing events have left many of the children feeling angry, confused, and abandoned. Their young lives have been completely turned upside down due to circumstances beyond their control or understanding.”

We will be collecting monetary donations at our November and December meetings.  Cash will be accepted, but checks are preferred. COHR will donate the money directly to Fostering Hope, which will be used to purchase children’s gifts for Christmas, and other essentials.

REMEMBER: no donation is too big or too small, and every little bit helps!

Please make all checks payable to: Fostering Hope.

We appreciate all of your help.  Thank you!

Sincerely,

Michelle Schmalfeldt
