I hope everyone’s new year has started off great! I’m excited to be the new President for 2020 and I look forward to working with each one of you to ensure that you are getting the most out of your COHR membership. We have an amazing Board this year who are all dedicated to helping with that task. We are in the process of lining up presenters who will be beneficial in helping all of us expand our HR knowledge. If there is a specific topic you would like to hear this year, please let us know.
We are also looking into adding a question and answer session (5 to 10) minutes at the end of the meetings to give our members the chance to ask other HR professionals questions about HR issues/problems they are dealing with. Two minds are better than one and why deal with something on your own, when others are dealing with the same thing. I believe this will be an added benefit to our members. Please feel free to let me know your thoughts.
